Pour ce projet, Olivier a souhaité mêler des images en noir et blanc et en couleur. Ainsi, il joue tantôt sur les contrastes apportés par les fourrures des animaux ou la profondeur de leurs regards, tantôt sur la palette de couleurs qui se déploie dans la forêt d’automne.
Depuis son poste d’affût, sans jamais changer de place pour ces clichés, il s’est attaché à restituer des scènes de vie éphémères à l’orée d’une grande tourbière finlandaise.
For this project, Olivier wanted to mix black and white and colored images. Thus, he plays sometimes on the contrasts brought by the animals furs or the depth of their eyes, sometimes on the unfolding color palette in the autumn forest. From his lookout post, without ever changing places for these shots, he endeavored to restore ephemeral scenes of life on the edge of a large Finnish peat bog.
